The Mori Dress pattern by E&E is SO GOOD. How good is it? The Mori Dress pattern is so good that I bought it before I even knew about the tour. Seriously. Of course, I changed it up a bit. Check it out.
I have a new sewing obsession–I’ve been inserting crown points (from my crown headband design) in every seam imaginable. As you can see, I did it here too!
Pattern: Mori Dress by Elegance & Elephants
Size: 3t, top length
Fabric: plaid suiting + Kona solid
My skirt is a bit fuller than the Mori Dress pattern outlines. That is because I am lazy and used the width of fabric instead of measuring. Emerson is all about comfort these days and absolutely hates having anything tight at her waist. The Mori Dress is an easy-fitting silhouette (slips on over the head with no closures) and is therefore 100% Emerson-approved. The pattern comes together really beautifully and has a size range of 6 months – 8 years.
If you don’t have the Mori Dress pattern yet (you probably already have it, right?) save 10% now through April 30 with code MORITOUR. Get the pattern in the E&E webshop here.
So long for now! I blog so infrequently now…sorry. You can always keep up with my sewing adventures on Instagram @glitterandwit — contrary to blog evidence, I’m actually sewing 40+ hours/week these days. Craft show season is upon us!
