Sewing for Babies // Sawyer

This is the second installment of an ongoing series, Sewing For Babies. Babies never stop being born and I never stop sewing for them! This dress was made for a sweet baby girl by the name of Sawyer.

Size: 3 months with the everyday skirt width (the least full of all options). I’m actually not 100% sure that’s the right size, but I sewed this weeks ago!
Fabric: Linen-look from Hancock. This fabric is the same fabric I used on my very first pattern test (which was also my very first official blog post!).
sewing-for-babies-sawyer-2 sewing-for-babies-sawyer-4I think I need to join a hummingbird support group (see all my hummingbirds here). This baby hummingbird is another of my Kids Clothes Week Summer 2014 sews (just one more dress to share from that week!). And this dress was the first that I used my enclosed waist seam technique on (see tutorial here). I love how NEAT it looks on the inside! Now I’m totally in the mood to sew up a bunch of hummingbirds for The Little Craft Show. Sheesh.

There’s more I could probably blab about, but I’m trying to keep things short and sweet to better use my time for craft show stuff. I guess if I really want to focus my time, I should probably stop making images like this one for you guys to pin. Womp-womp.
